When selecting fabric for curtains or drapes, the width of the fabric may be a consideration. A wide width fabric of 295-330cm is easier to make up as there are less seams and a plain or connituous pattern can be railroaded. Wide width fabrics are becoming the more popular choice across the commercial sector. (Another consideration will be the application, this will determine the level of light required. Drapery fabric has many options from full block out to a soft sheer. )
Other points to consider: Do these fabrics need to be treated.
Will there be different layers to the curtains, is the room only used in the day time, will the curtains be drawn each night. Please contact Radfords Commercial Sales Specialist for more help with your selections.
